Cannot take this serious as the two songs one and two are obviously a result of an organized effort of a group of people to keep them there. Both songs do not deserve the rating and so I will bow out of voting.
Mike,
I am sorry to hear you feel this way. This chart is based on the song rating form submissions of site visitors. The Chart and Surf Countdown show was started to promote the local artists. This process provides a way to get their songs played on the 94.9 The Surf. The top 2 songs are consistently receiving a high majority of top ratings each and every week. We encourage the artists to share this website to their fans. We have a number of local artists that are promoting the chart and the ratings every week. Some have promoted it a few weeks, but not every week. If you look back, you can see how the songs rate each week. This CHART is based solely on these votes coming on on this chart form and have no other outside influence. We hope you will reconsider your ban on voting and possibly encourage the fans of the songs that you think are the best to join you in voting.
